Anecdotes and stories from the lives of these wonderful female composers, as well as their struggle to find a place for themselves in the male-dominated world of music, are woven into the programme. The main characters are female composers from different eras and backgrounds, but all with the same desire: to be heard. The interplay of flute, cello and piano opens up a special world of sound in which airy lightness meets profound resonance. The trio by C. M. von Weber for this instrumentation is a musical jewel and was the beginning of this ensemble. This work inspires both technically and emotionally and impressively brings out the special magic of this instrumentation. The trio has an extensive repertoire and captivates its audience with rousing musicality.
